Attention
Teachers -- Here you will find (6) Explorations developed
by a team of education specialists to connect
The Fever of '57 to associated NCSS
and NSTA standards
and to enrich your Science, Social Studies, and History curricula.
These Explorations are appropriate for Grades 8 through College level,
with varying levels of sophistication. Each Exploration is self-contained
and printable with a Teacher's Guide, Inquiry-based Student Activities,
Homework Helper links, and related learning standards. Your students
will be referenced back to this website where they will find Exploration-related
Homework Helper links, cool videos, and copyright cleared pictures
for projects. All the Explorations will stretch your students to read,
conduct research, analyze their findings, and participate in stimulating
classroom discussion. Filmmaker David Hoffman is committed to education
and is anxious to hear about your experiences. Be sure to e-mail
the Filmmaker. Here's a video message
from David to you. Happy Sputnik year! |
